( The story thus far... )

Rukia’s bad end is, ironically, the fate Rukia finds most fitting. The war with Aizen resulted in many deaths, including Renji and Ichigo. All of Soul Society went under Aizen’s reign. As a sadistic and amusing form of containment, Aizen made Rukia into a Vaizard. The new inner Hollow had no trouble in overcoming its Shinigami master. As she thought of Ichigo’s death as on her hands for twisting his fate, she had no resolve to resist. She continued to live as a prisoner in her own soul, finding the fate a fitting punishment for her. It was only right, in her mind, to endure what she made Ichigo go through for himself.

The following is the initial 'Bad End' for Rukia during the event of the same name. I chose to go in another direction that explored a different aspect of character, but thought I'd post this for archive's sake.

( Within Soul Society, Aizen walked as a god. )

>Her sword is inhabited with a spirit that's sort of an extension of her soul. Those who are spiritually or psychically sensitive might notice something about it, if close enough to it. Similarly, they might notice something off about her as well.

>Technically doesn't exist the same way normal matter does, being composed of 'Spirit particles' made visible by the Gate.
>Usually wears sundresses or skirts.
>Enjoys trying new foods at the cafeteria.
>Has a sketchbook with 'Property of Biometrics Lab #4' in the front cover. (May or may not be stolen.)
>Currently keeps her katana hidden away in her room, unless it's needed.
>Frequently sits about the ship reading novels.
>Has a mysterious way of guaranteeing a table in the cafeterias and cafe.
